" I love navigation ,and find my big pleasure in it ´" Safia was able to surprise both the participants and audience during her first participation in sea sport competitions in particular in the National competition of hobi boats ,which was carried out lately Safia was the first Omani girt who participated in the competitions first time held in the Sultanate .it was an outstanding event in Oman Sport activities . Safia confirmed her pleasure for her first participation ,she scored the 4th class and she hoped shamefully to find big supported in the next championship and that she will be granted a chance to represent the Sultanate in the regional and International championships . She added that she had started training for this competition before one complete year ,under the supervision of the trainer Mr. David Clerk at the Club training center , she was trained on skill of boat sailing of 16 ft. category Durability and strength are the main factors for this competitions . in spite of the difficulty during my first training days and in addition to my little age only 17 years ,but my love to this sports make me overcome all the difficulties and only looking for success pleasure .
Safia added that she joint this activity by chance ,when she asked his help through the telephone to help her in School Newspaper project which was given as assignment in Imama Bint AL ass general education girl school , at that time no one knows that this sport wil
l be in the future as future way of life for our competitor .Later on she became an active member in the team headed by her trainer himself . .
Her sincere love to this type of sports gives her a big push to study the basic principals and rules of the sport ,such as the winds and waves speed , selection of suitable marine environment , free of risks such as shark fish , must also consider the health & psychological situation of the competitor which play big role in the competitor success . Safia emphasized that good selection of the colleague trip is of highly significant , the selected fellow should possess good marine skill good decision maker .she mentioned that during local competition ,she took wrong decision regarding wind speed resulted in incomplete of the competition , she felt with repent .
The sports age of Safia is one and half year ,she mentioned this statement laughing ,but it is full of successful activities , she added that I endeavor to improve my performance through regular training that organized by the team in particular training on Hobi boat 16 ft as well as concentrate my training in diversification of using different boats in training to enable me of good controlling and understanding the suitable mechanism for achieving the success
Safia is characterized with innocent laughing and joking that attack all people to her ..She is also extrovert and very social able but in fact her very unique feature is her good-natured and simple hearted She disturbed that she also have bad feature, she tried hard to control it which is temper mental . , she possesses personal feature of cancer.
